Dee has painted enplein-air from Naarm Melbourne to Kurnai Gippsland. Working outside helps to inform studio artwork and projects.

Life Drawing can be the anatomical description of the human body in different settings and for differing times (short or longer poses).

Dee first started drawing the figure from life in year 11, continued at college and was in an artist run, untutored life drawing group before moving to the country.
